Now is the time to say Goodbye Globe!

Lakas manggoyo ng Globe
The National Telecommunications Commission has dismissed TXTPower’s complaint against Globe’s new unlimited texting promo, TXTPower convenor Anthony Ian Cruz said.

Cruz said this developed after the NTC-brokered settlement talks between TXTPower and Globe collapsed.

Globe rejected TXTPower’s offer of P100 for 10 days, and instead offered a P90 for 6 days, which the consumer group also rejected. TXTPower then demanded that the NTC hold a hearing on its complaint.

Acting on Globe’s motion, the NTC then decided to dismiss TXTPower’s complaint.

“The NTC and Globe are liable for allowing the price hike. Now is the time to say Goodbye Globe,” Cruz said.

well, it was a noble fight to the end. thanks to txtpower for everything it has done for globe subscribers like us who were hoodwinked into having that exorbitant price increase. still, more power to you. it’s guerilla time mga pipz… let’s show Globe they may have won that one but they are losing the whole war big time.

Guys dont lose your hope & dont be discouraged. This is not yet the end. TXTPower will not stop without justice. As of now we should switch to other networks and wait for txtpower other scenario. Txtpower dont give up. Its time to make war!

kudos to txtpower for fighting. in the end mukhang binayaran ng Globe ang NTC.
what use is the survey/poll in their website? an overwhelming majority already said that they wanted the old unlimitxt back.
f*ck you Globe!

This is CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!! I smell something fishy is going inside NTC and Globe Telecoms. Globe wont hasitate to put a million peso under the table besides there Unlimited Texting Promo will give them billions of pesos “BUT” they will surely lose a lot of costumers especially us regular and ordinary people who rely on less expensive type of services. As for you Globe you dumb a** greed pot of s*** I wish that your net incomes will drop down. They might have won the battle but not the war. AS FOR GLOBE YOU ARE ONE HELL OF A S*** YOU PIGS!

jerk_shop / February 23rd, 2007, 5:16 pm

Thats right guys. Spread the news about Globe arrogance and NTC’s corruption. Encourage others to switch to smart or sun. Txtpower do your next step as of now. Letting Globe defeat means END of your function as consumer advocacy group. Dont give up!

. . .

tiNka / February 23rd, 2007, 5:53 pm

lumalabas tuloy na binarayan ng globe ang ntc, o binarayan talaga? they may have won the battle but the war is not yet over. we built this company and we can bring it down and soon will.

btw, i need some clarifications on:
“The NTC said we could appeal within 10 days. But because the new promo is set to end within 10 days, it might be moot and academic. We don’t want to preempt anything with a reply,” Cruz said.

does this ‘promo’ refer to the moronic price hike and globe is planning another idiotic move?

aRC / February 23rd, 2007, 6:04 pm

well, how much did globe paid to NTC? I know NTC is the regulating body of all telco’s but now NTC opened up their pockets VERY VERY WIDE in order to fit the amount paid to them by globe telecom. well time to go back to SMART COMMUNICATIONS and hoping the SMART will not do the same as GLOBE BETRAYAL to its consumers.

ako_si_alfred / February 23rd, 2007, 8:46 pm

Naku don’t switch to Smart! Here’s why:

1) Smart 258 is only available on a 1 day registration.
2) Only a small percentage of Smart users can register for unlimited for specific period.

Globe offers a compromise. Getting between a corporation and potential profit that could let it survive for many years to come is like standing in front of an avalanche thinking it’ll stop because you’re against global warming.

Let the dying down begin.

And for the record, I’m not hiding my identity. There’s nothing wrong with that I have to say for myself. A simple google search will reveal my identity.

I stand by my word. You have been lucky enough to gain what attention you have. Don’t ruin it by being such hard asses.

redkinoko / February 27th, 2007, 1:50 pm

Oh and yeah, go to the other networks and start forwarding your senseless messages there.

Good riddance.

redkinoko / February 27th, 2007, 1:51 pm

red,

i suggest you take a look at this link

http://stocks.us.reuters.com/stocks/overview.asp?symbol=GLO.PS

I’m assuming you are intelligent enough to interpret what you see in that site because it will show you when fat ass corporations prioritize profits before their clients who gave them those profits in the first place.

It’s simply a case of Globe biting the hands that feed it.

Oh by the way i saw your blogsite. You say you occupation is taong grasa. Yeah, I should’ve realized that by the style of your writing. Senseless. Its taong grasa style all right.

Now, if you have nothing sensible to write about, why stay here. You’re very much welcome to make like a tree and leave.
