[UPDATE, Oct. 1, 2009: Donate directly to the Philippine National Red Cross via its official Paypal address: give@redcross.org.ph]

As of 3:25 pm today, Sept. 27, or just after 24 hours since we launched this fund drive for victims of typhoon Ondoy, TXTPower has received the following:

P93,952.50 via Paypal donations
P700.00 via GCash
P100.00 via SmartMoney
——————————-
P94,752.50 TOTAL

ALL YOUR DONATIONS WILL GO TO PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS. We will officially turn over to the PNRC all the amounts we receive to the PNRC through manager’s checks as soon as they clear the Paypal withdrawal process. We have informed the office of the PNRC secretary-general about this. We will furnish the PNRC with the names of all those who contributed and made donations.

Again, thank you to everyone who made this possible.

But the work continues. You may check out these sites — Sour Politics, the geek brewery, and miriamq — on how you can help those who were adversely affected by Ondoy.

You may still send your donations via Paypal (magbayanihan@yahoo.com.ph or by clicking here), GCash (0917-9751092) and SmartMoney (5577-5144-1866-7103)
