Bukidnon’s voters speak out: Goodbye Garci!

Former Comelec Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano, the man widely suspected to be the person President Arroyo spoke with in the Hello Garci recordings, has conceded defeat in his bid to become a congressman representing Bukidnon’s first district.

This is a just political punishment, handed down by people from his very town, for Garci’s criminal involvement in the 2004 elections. He shamed the people of Bukidnon and caused a lingering national scandal.
