Valentines Day: Grabe talaga magmahal ang Globe

Wed, Feb 14, 2007

News

Practically nothing happened at the NTC today Valentines Day. Indeed, grabe talaga magmahal ang Globe.

Globe lawyers said that Globe’s chief executive officer Gerry Ablaza has yet to make a decision on issue. They also said that Ablaza is still in Barcelona, Spain for the GSMA conference and will return only later this week.

NTC Commissioner Abraham Abesamis and Deputy Commissioner Jorge Sarmiento are also in Barcelona for the same conference.

The other deputy commissioner presided over the meeting by his lonesome and was in a bad mood that was unconducive to the “negotiations”.

Globe lawyers also said that they will have a formal reply to our offer by Feb. 20, the deadline set by the NTC.

The “meeting” lasted only 30 minutes.

We expect not only a formal reply from Globe on Feb. 20, but more importantly a decision by the NTC, as per the assurance of Commissioner Abesamis.

We thank Jhay and members of Kabataan Partylist for joining the convenors today.

Rest assured that we remain steadfast in fighting for our rights as consumers.

typical, barefaced, shameless delaying tactics. Globe is probably wining and dining the NTC commissioners in Barcelona. Looks like it’s all up to us. Let’s continue the boycott!!!

they claim to have 15MiLLiOn Subscribers! and i doubt that they havent felt the boycott yet.
nag papatagal lang cla.. they are trying to test our patience and our standing.. kung gang saan tau mag sstand up against them or kung mag ggive in nalang tau sa knla..

I will wait.. until feb 20. for the final decisions. kung ndi lilipat na kme ng network.
mas madaling mag palit ng sim ng 1 time kza tiisin ang pang aabuso ng Globe.. sabagay, mayaman na ang Globe.. maybe they can afford to lose a few million subcribers :/

  7. rollen Says:

Hay txtpower as we sed GLOBE MANAGEMENT IS ARROGANT AND GREEDY FUCKING BITCH.

  9. hreynes Says:

15million subscribers and only 5T+ have signed the petition. we need to spread the word around. Tinka and I can start the ball rolling in Cebu.

Gagawa kami ng awareness campaign dito. Sa tingin ko “a few million subscribers” will make Globe notice.

  10. rollen Says:

Alam nyo kng ano reaction ng Globe management ngaun? Pnagtatawan tau! We are like BEGGARS for thm waiting 4 nothng. Hnd ganyan kadali iconvince ang Globe to rollback. We are waiting for a DAMN not a solution!

  11. rollen Says:

15 milion? 10 milion lng po ang globe subs! D rest of 15.7 are TM subs!

  12. rollen Says:

Try to visit http://www.globe.com.ph. Try to see 2005 3rd quarter and 2005 4th quarter SEC reports ng globe. Frm 12M+ to 9M+ nlng during 4th quarter!

  13. Clive Says:

Nyetang Globe!

  14. Pao Says:

    “Justice delayed is justice denied”

  15. aRC Says:

  16. jobert Says:

Guys bago tayo lumipat ng networks let us give MEMORABLE NIGHTMARE to Globe…Come on guys basta nalang ba kayo lilipat ng networks na walang ganti? Wala tayong JUSTICE!!!!!!

  17. jobert Says:

Tell your friends about Globe greediness. Ganon ba? Pangbig time na ang TM ah…Bigatin!!

  18. me Says:

They are employing the DELAY TACTIC so that we will get bored.
If Globe’s CEO Gerry Ablaza, NTC Commissioner Abraham Abesamis and Deputy Commissioner Jorge Sarmiento are out of the country then why did they schedule the meeting for that day? I’m sure some time back they already knew that they will be unavailable that day.

  19. jobert Says:

It’s a sad thing to know na parang naghihintay lang tayo sa wala. Delay nalang palagi…We are seemed so hopeless and helpless to have our desired JUSTICE

  20. pipo Says:

february 20 would be the straw that breaks the camel’s back… up to that date lang mga ka txtpower…

  21. Ai-Lin Says:

Hn. Kaya nga ako lumipat ng globe is because of unlimitxt, and now, since my classmates have switched, balik na lang ako sa dati. Hay.

  22. rollen Says:

Yaks super inggitero ang globe! Sla rin pla nagpatigil ng mga promo ng smart like ALL DAY TEXTING + 5 MIN CALL, UNLI40, UNLI30, smart flatrate at iba pa! Ipinatigil nla sa ntc! Kaya pla ayaw gayahin ng globe kc ayaw nla magoffer ng afordable services!

  23. rollen Says:

Dont worry guys globe’s doom ay malapit! Tingnan lng natin. Smart at Sun sim bases will soar up! Tingnan lng natin. Globe is worthy to be hated by its subs. Niloko tayo and never na tayong magtitiwala ulit! Go guys make the Smart move or switch to sun

  24. neolanzer Says:

Sabi ko na nga ba… delay delay delay… hanggang mawala na yung issue sa public eye. lets not let this happen… Lagi nalang pinapayagan ng Pilipino na manalo ang maypera… not this time.

  25. hreynes Says:

let’s not confine our discussions here, go to your favorite chatrooms, groups like friendster, tagged, etc and spread the word around. di kelangan mag physical rally sa kalsada. kung alam lang ng karamihan ng mga may TXTPower pala at responsible consumers like us, tingnan nyo lolobo ang membership ng txtpower at lolobo din ang signatories ng petition. then we will have strength in numbers.

  27. pipo Says:

well… for me…. tuloy pa rin ang laban….

  28. Clive Says:

  29. TXTPower Says:
