i hope na ibalik na ang dating rates ng globe dahil sobrang mahal eh! di naman sila nalulugi even with the old rates! too much consumerism! i hope that we, as consumers will fight for our rights! kaya abusadoa ang globe kasi they are aware that we are not reactive even if they impose higher rates.. sa states sobrang reactive ng consumers kaya if they are not satisfied with a product, they can always file a lawsuit and if they have a point, they win. furthermore, ok kasi ang systema ng gobyerno dun! walang sabwatan!

if NTC couldn't/wouldn't give Globe some sort of penalty for not obeying the suspension order given last feb 5 then it just tells us one thing. NTC is useless and should be abolished since its basically powerless and just consumes our taxes.

aRC, thanks for the suggestion. We hope Globe executives (or their proxies) are browsing through our website.

Anyway, we are practically asking Globe to redraw their Unlimitxt plan: maintain the old rates and provide new choices. The stress: maintain the old rates.

Bahala na ang Globe kung ano ang mga choices na idadagdag. Huwag lang nila galawin yung 15/25/50.

i think aRC has a point. the pluns aRC suggested don't leave consumers confused. The plans are clear, distinct options.

Any other reactions?

yes, but consumers have the right to be informed, and besides calling it a "permanent" offer was (still is) the reason why people are upset and feel that they've been cheated and tricked.

BTW, i don't think globe will take the offer:
P15/1day, P25/2days, and P50/5days with
P15/daytime, P10/night and the other new choices (txtplus, i presume), wouldn't people just go for P15/day(24hrs)than P15/day-shift(8am-4:59pm)??

how about just having:
P15/8am-4:59pm
P10/10pm-8am
P25/2days
P50/5days
and the new txtplus offer (i don't think people use that anyway)

just a suggestion.

FANTASTIC research rrroydz and tiNka. As tiNka sez, it can't get any clearer than that. For good. As in permanent, no longer just a promotion.
Let's see Globe try to worm their way out of this one.

tiNka, i'll be sending you email with my contact info.

Ay sorry, di nasama to:

just wondering sa news dito:
http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/infotech/view_article.php?article_id=48459

To quote:
"The operator said the NTC has affirmed years ago that the text messaging service was a deregulated service under NTC Memorandum Circular 14-7-2000. This authorizes carriers to fix their own rates for deregulated services. They only need only notify the NTC of their new rates but do not require the agency's approval."

May leverage ba sila dahil dito?
