An Open Letter to Fellow Gentxters

Lakas manggoyo ng Globe Dear friends,

On Feb. 20, TXTPower convenors go anew to the National Telecommunications Commission office for the last ditch effort to amicably settle our complaint against Globe Telecom.

Right now, the ball is with Globe Telecom. We are awaiting their formal reply to our offer — that they revert back to the old Unlimitxt rates alongside the new promo. Of course, they have to modify the new promo and that means modifying it to favor consumers. If Globe Telecom relents on its hardline position, we will immediately drop the complaint.

But if and when Globe decides to junk the offer and prefers to battle it out with us in an open public hearing, we will be ready. Globe may have an army of highly-paid legal hotshots, but we are not short of competent people’s lawyers who are ready to defend our rights to the full extent of the law.

We have outlined what we can and must do in preparation for Feb. 20. We hope that we will all do our share. Please spread the word, raise high the banner of good sense and consumer rights. We will not win only if we entertain defeatist thoughts. Globe may be able to swamp us with endless advertisements on TV, radio and newspapers but that cannot change the fact that this company we all helped rebuild from the ruins through our loyal patronage surprised, cheated and now tries to evade valid questions raised by consumers.

Continue the protests, sign the petition, intensify the boycott. Keep up the spirit. Consumer rights are never respected by corporate scum and a neglectful government, so we must ourselves act to assert them.

Thank you. Hope to see you on Feb. 20.

Truly yours,
Anthony Ian Cruz

Nakakalungkot na halos lahat na hawak ng Globe are under its control. The Philipine Star newspaper didnt report the biggest issue esp d boycott & campaign but reported only whts Globe response at ang globe ads lng. Buti pa ang GMA news hnd BIASED.

Im am doubting kung papayag ang Globe bukas. But you know guys kahit irollback man nila ang INLIMITXT one thing lang ang hindi nila maibabalik yon ang TIWALA ng mga subscribers. Lubos tayong nagtiwala sa Globe pro sinira lng nila. Pinatigil nila sa NTC ang mga promo ng Smart pati ang 24/7 ng Sun tinangkang patigilin rin ng globe. Alam nyo ba and dahilan?
